This is what really makes online piano lessons a virtual reality. I am the only online professional piano teacher who offers these Interactive Tools, allowing me to bring my studio to you,.
ON SCREEN APPS & PROGRAMS
These allow me to work with you on music concepts in detail during live lessons, which before now, was very difficult to do online. Here is a slideshow of screenshots from actual lessons that show some of the examples & possibilities.
ANNOTATIONS ON SCREEN
During our lessons, I will place notes and annotations directly onto the screen, either on the music or just reminders in general. These Live Lesson Notes will also be saved as PDF's, which you will have instant access to. These will be a tremendous aid during the lesson and in your practice. Below is a video sample of various examples from actual lessons.
FILE & MULTIMEDIA SHARING
We can instantly share files with each other, during the lesson, via Zoom (video conference app). You will also have access to Dropbox & Evernote, in which I can share any type of link or file: video, audio, project file (Logic Pro), Youtube, or anything else that's related to our lesson.
This allows me to help students if there are any kind of technical issues that arise. Also, it allows me to help you learn about a music app or provide training as needed. Below is a short video tutorial.
You will have access to an easy-to-use 'Digital Notebook' with the Evernote App. It is the main 'Student Hub', which contains Lesson Plans, Media Files, Lesson Notes, Instant Communication, and really anything else related to staying organized as a student. Your Dropbox folder will be used mainly for hosting large files, like video.
Below is a video tutorial I made for students on how to Evernote is used for online lessons. Detailed instructions for installing Evernote & Dropbox are located on the Tutorials page.
